^Lot 1147 20CN-519 WINCHESTER MDL 1894

Early Special Order Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, .38-55 WCF caliber, Serial #120738. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 26” ½ octagon to round barrel with a full-length magazine.The barrel and magazine have gone entirely to grey patina with some discoloration on the magazine and over cleaning. The receiver is also grey with light surface erosion and dull blue on the loading gate. The smoothwood stocks are in good condition with mars, non-factory checkering, pistol grip and “J.C.A.” carved into the left side of the butt stock. The butt ends with a smooth, steel crescent butt plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this Special Order Model 1894. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Antique).
